BANGI, 4 Dec – ISMA’s Women Chief, Ustazah Norsaleha condemns MCA Wanita vice-chairman Ong Chong Swen for her shallow, unintelligent and confrontational statement that all Malaysians including non-Malays were aware of and would not question the “four pillars” that forms the Constitution of Malaysia.
According to Ustazah Norsaleha, threats, questions and condemnations towards the four pillars that forms the basis of this country, which are Islam as religion of the Federation, special position of Malays, sovereignty of Malay Rulers and Bahasa Melayu as the national language, has been ongoing for years and has lately become even more frequent and brazen.
It is perplexing how the the MCA Wanita vice-chairman absentmindedly failed to observe numerous examples of such extreme statements being played to the racist tunes.
“DAP for example itself states very clearly in their website that they want to remove the rights of the Bumiputra.
“Ambiga has been pushing for Pakatan Rakyat members to amend laws related to Islam.
“Almost all of the committee in Comango, made up of many non-Muslim Malaysians and NGOs (some dubiously formed), has put forward ridiculous unconstitutional demands that stoked the anger of the Muslims in the country such as legalizing apostasy, removing Shariah laws, removing the rights of the Malays, embracing LGBT and clamouring for the usage of “Allah” in the Bahasa Melayu version of the Christian Bible.
“Look into your own backyard and that of DAP too, to find a remarkable resemblance and similarity of standpoint about your cantancerous objections surfacing every now and then against the full implementation of Shariah laws.
“Has she been sleeping all these while, or does she really think Malaysians are stupid? Who is she trying to fool?, “ Ustazah Norsaleha questioned after listing only a few of the many other remarks against the four pillars, which stood as the intrinsic hallmark of the Malaysian Constitution.
She added that if Chong Swen is ‘enthusiastic’ about charging people under the Sedition Act, which is there to protect the constitution and to maintain peace in the country, then she does not have to look far.
“If there is anyone creating hatred and distrust in the society, then it is the chauvinist DAP, MCA and left-wing NGOs.
“You should demand the Government and the AG to immediately charge them under the Sedition Act if you are really serious and sincere to uphold peace in the country”, she added.
Ustazah Norsaleha also insisted that ISMA does not harbour any hatred nor distrust against the non-Muslims as long as they are true and loyal to the country and respect the constitution that has hold the multiracial country together.
“We in ISMA do not despise the non-Muslims nor do we hate them for being in this country as long as they respect the constitution and the four pillars that forms the basis of this country.
“We also call upon all Muslims to treat them well as ordained in Islam, as they are considered our friends, neighbors and communities.
“However, an insignificant minority amongst them has been continuously attacking these very four pillars and are vehemously trying to incite racial disharmony amongst the malaysian peace-loving populace.
“It has been the same group of people again and again; they move in a very structured manner, control the media and some are even trained and funded by controversial international bodies whose aims, among others borders on regime change favourable to the Liberal agenda.
“Do you think that we will just sit quietly and let these group of people destroy our beloved country?” she asked.
Ustazah Norsaleha concluded that ISMA as an islamic NGO will continue to put up a strong resistance against these blatant interference and a clear and present danger to the peace and stability of this country.
“Because ISMA has a deep-seated passion for the welfare and future of Malaysians.”
